Central Park Liquor promotes sensible, moderate and responsible alcohol consumption and party hosting. Below are a few points to keep you and your guests safe and happy while responsibly consuming alcoholic beverages.

Enjoy in Moderation – Know your limit and stay with in it.
Drinks lots of water – At our elevation dehydration is always a problem, consuming alcoholic beverages while dehydrated can intensify the affects of alcohol. Alternate your alcoholic beverage with water to stay hydrated and happy!

Eat and Drink – Having snacks when you drink will slow down the absorption of alcohol into your system. Pairing food and wine is a fun and safe way to enjoy the complimentary flavors of both!
Slow down and enjoy – Taking the time to savor the flavors and aromas of the wines, cocktails and beer that you’re consuming will help slow down your consumption.

Do not drink and drive – In Steamboat we are very lucky to have good public transportation and taxi service, if you find that you have had too much to drink please use one of these alternatives. If you know that you’re going to a function where it might be difficult or expensive to use catch a bus or taxi then designate a driver who will not be drinking.

Safe Party Hosting
Have lots of non alcoholic beverages available – Water, sodas and even some non alcoholic beer.

Have food as well as drinks- Having snacks available throughout your party will help slow down the amount of alcohol being consumed. Push the food as much as the drinks.

Keep an eye on your guests – If you see someone having a bit too much fun start serving them non alcoholic drinks make sure they have a safe way home.

Know your guests and there age – If you think someone might be underage then ask, serving minors is against Colorado State Law.
